After becoming the sole care giver of her father in 1986, Shawn realized her natural care for the elderly and followed her interest in starting her nursing career. Over twenty-five years later, Shawn has held various titles in a mixture of medical settings.

Shawn’s advanced positions in wound care, restorative nursing, and staff development, have transcended across her experience working in hospitals, long-term care, rehabilitation facilities, and behavioral units. She received her LPN in 86’, her RN in 98’ at Front Range Community College, followed by her BSN in 08’ from the University of Phoenix.

Providing excellent care in a home atmosphere with dignity and respecting patient wishes, are her top priorities.

In her spare time, she enjoys thrift shopping and spending time with her three grown children and their family’s.
